In recent years, the improvement of the new communication technologies has made it necessary to return the focus on verbal culture. In the messages transmitted in the social media which developed within the internet, the irregular and false use of Turkish is remarkable together with meaningless structures generated because of using English and Turkish simultaneously. This condition results in a different language which is not suitable for literacy. This article aims to extensively examine this structure of verbal culture which is newly generated due to the internet and demonstrate the contemporary transformations of the Turkish language.en_US
